For the last 20 years I was in different finance and pricing roles at Philips Medical & Agilent Technologies in Böblingen (Germany) with growing responsibilities ending up in a global pricing responsibility of the Medical Consumables Business, Children Medical venture and MR Patient Care.

In 2014 I was accredited as Certified Pricing Manager from the European Pricing Platform. Besides that, for the last 18 months I also led a value based pricing project in the MR Patient Care environment and I'm adapting some key learnings to other strategic value based pricing projects. In addition I'm currently working on an App platform for value calculators.

In September 2015 I was invited by the European Pricing Platform (EPP) in Montreux (Geneva) and in December 2015 by Professional Pricing Society (PPS) in Amsterdam to lecture about the topic: "PROFIT FOR INNOVATION – How a Value Based pricing project funds some more innovations". I presented there a strategic business case which turned out to have a business impact of 1M Euro / Year through applying value based pricing principles. Since then a lot more speaking opportunities on similar topics has been offered at congresses.

With that gained knowledge his scope was extended to digitalise some of Philip’s Competitive Intelligence to mobile devices. This resulted into his development of the external award winning “Compare app” in 2018.

In 2019 the developed "Value Calculator App" has also been recognised externally with an award.
